Personalized Pens
Wednesday, 27 January 2010
Whenever I’m at a business expo, I notice that organizers who participated in the expo generally distribute so many types of promotional items to prospective clients. For example, I have received promotional items such as paper weights, pens, calendars, mouse pads, thumb drives, and etc, whenever I attend business expos. Personally, I find these customizable promotional items to be a very effective marketing tool. For example, if you take a look at
personalized pens
, these pens are very cheap to purchase, and the cost to customize these pens are very low indeed. On the other hand, I also find pens to be very useful, as you can use these promotional pens for writing purposes. Also, whenever I use these promotional pens, the designs on these pens usually remind me of the organizer who distributed these pens at the business expo. Furthermore, whenever I need specific services from these organizers, I can easily refer to the contact information found on the promotional pen, which saves me the hassle searching for the organizer’s business card. Well if you are thinking of supercharging your marketing campaign, perhaps you should distribute some promotional pens to your prospective clients? I’m sure your clients will love using these pens!

Seagate LSI PCI-e SSD
Wednesday, 27 January 2010
Seagate didn't bother helping up a gaggle of new wares at CES this year, but judging by its discharge shot out today, it's eager to make a serious splash in the SSD market a bit later on. Thanks to partnership from LSI, the outfit is expected to convey its own line of PCI Express-based solid state storage products. We're guessing these devices will be similar in capacity to the PCIe SSDs already outed by Fusion-io and OCZ Technology, but at least at first, they'll be aimed squarely at the enterprise market. We're eager that's just a beta test (of sorts) and that performance-minded desktop users can snap one up at their local Best Buy in short order -- too bad we've no guarantee that these will be priced within the area of feasibility, though.

ASUS DR-950
Wednesday, 27 January 2010
ASUS hasn't exactly been tight-lipped regarding its DR-950 e-reader -- you know, with it churning photos and all -- but apparently the 9-inch E Ink, touchscreen-based reading device will be ready for purchasers in April. ASUS informed the guys at Electric Pig that it's currently in course of shopping around for content partners, but plans to have the e-reader to sell by springtime with a price tag in the range of £250 (about $354). Not too bad, though it's difficult to get too jazzed about a black-and-white reproduction with the OLED color DR-570 version on the horizon.

Invoice Factoring
Wednesday, 27 January 2010
I’m not a business owner, but I did go to business school during my university days. Being an MBA graduate, I understand that businesses require a comfortable amount of working capital in order to stay afloat in business. Working capital is important because the respective funds are being channeled to keep things running. However, if you notice that your company’s working capital is dangerously low, I believe that you ought to increase your working capital to a comfortable margin. Generally, companies these days resort to something called
invoice factoring
to increase their existing working capital. There are several benefits in obtaining a factoring service, such as the ability to increase your cash flow almost immediately, as well as, having the necessary financial means to keep up with your other financial obligations. On the other hand, if you are thinking of expanding your business, I’m pretty sure the additional funds that you obtain from a factoring service will come in handy for your company. Also, I believe that a business factoring service can also be used to reduce your overall debt, which will ultimately lower your business gearing considerably. So if you are thinking of increasing the cash flow for your business, perhaps you should research more on these factoring services.

Loose Weight?
Wednesday, 06 January 2010
A number of my female friends love to discuss about their weight as well as methods to loose weight effectively. Of course, normally I don’t really starve myself in order to loose weight, but I do resort to weight loss pills to supplement my weight loss regime. Nevertheless, it also seems that there’s yet another effective method called the gastric band, and it involves a
houston gastric band doctor
inserting a gastric band into your stomach that will help you loose weight without having to starve yourself in the future. Of course, it also seems that this particular method is fully reversible and it is indeed administered by a highly qualified surgeon, thus the risk is practically very low indeed. And if you wish to check for more info regarding this particular method, I would suggest that you head online and browse through informational portals to find out more info on the respective procedure.

How to Highlight Audio
Wednesday, 06 January 2010
I was recently chatting with someone and we got to talking about different audio players and MP3 devices. Both of us commented on how much we used our players for listening to podcasts and audio books. There’s something seriously missing from the mainstream players we discussed. When you’re listening to a long podcast or an audiobook, there are times when something is mentioned that you’d like to make a mental note of and come back to it later. The problem with mental notes is we forget them before we can write them down.
If audio players had the functionality of an audio highlighting tool, you could quickly tag a position in the playback and come back to it later for review. The simple execution would be to be able to press a button on the device to bookmark and highlight an area. The more useful feature might be a voice-enabled option that would let you say something like “highlight 30 seconds”. The device would then mark a 30 second block at that point.
Later when you’re able, you can then return to this highlighted portions and make notes. When the device is connected to the management software, being able to see a list of your bookmarks and then add your own notes to those tags, that would be super useful don’t you think?
